Better Musician privacy policy

This is the privacy policy for the Better Musician Android app, provided by Yuval Herman, trading as Better Musician. It explains what the app does with information on your phone. Our website has its own policy at https://better-musician.com/privacy.

The short version

• The app works entirely on your phone. It has no internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere.
• No account, no advertising networks, no analytics, no tracking.
• We, the developer, receive none of your data.

What the app stores on your phone

• Your routines, practice windows (schedules) and reminders.
• Your practice history: which sessions you did, for how long, and what they covered.
• Your Tune-up results and the topics you have practised.
• Your settings: language, note names, theme and quick-question times.

This data lives in the app's private storage on your phone. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings.

Notifications	To show practice reminders and quick questions.
Exact alarms	To deliver a reminder at the time you chose.
Run at startup	To restore your reminders after the phone restarts or the app updates.
Vibrate	A short buzz when a practice step changes.

The app does not ask for the microphone, camera, contacts, location or storage.

Sharing and third parties

We do not share your data, because we never receive it. The app contains no advertising networks, analytics or crash-reporting services. The app contains a link to the Better Musician website; tapping it opens your web browser, and the app itself sends nothing. It uses only standard Android components and open-source libraries that work on your device.

Backups

If you have Android's device backup turned on, Android may include this app's data in the backup stored in your Google account. That is controlled by your phone's settings and Google's terms. We cannot see it.

Deleting your data

Uninstall the app, or open Android Settings, Apps, Better Musician, Storage, and clear storage.

Children

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
